Your babies have been working very hard this week, learning their most important task of "litter box training". All is going very well! At first the kittens all climbed in and went to sleep in the litter. Then they wrestled and played in the litter. I had to take them out of the box. I introduced them to their first taste of water and "baby cat" food. They were very receptive to their new food. They are using their litter box now and there are no "accidents" - very very smart little kitties! The kittens will reside in "the playpen" for the next week to reinforce their litter box skills.
I will be emailing everyone a "supply list" and also a document that gives you an idea of the kitten's daily routine, what you should expect at your home, and some info on vaccines and spay/neuter.
We will be scheduling "adoption days" in the upcoming week. Please plan to take some time off to be with your kitten to help it get used to its new home. You will also need to schedule your kitten's "well baby" exam once you have your adoption day.
Please feel free to call or write with any questions. Carol
